Works great on my Note 10+ and S20 Ultra

I used this adapter to get my old AKG headphone set to work on my new phones that don't have a headphone jack. In fact, I find that the sound quality with this adapter is more comfortable with older AKG Samsung headphones than new models that come with headphones with a USB-C connector. So the sound quality is no problem at all with this adapter. I really need a few more of these so I can plug them into other headphones. I highly recommend these to make old headphones work with new Samsung…

The correct audio channel is only obtained when using a 3.5mm 4-pin headset.

The correct audio channel only played when I plugged a Turtle Beach headset (4 3.5mm pins) into the dongle attached to the S21. I checked the pre-purchase questions/answers and made sure this dongle works with headsets. Obviously not. The headset isn't anything fancy, but it's not a cheap off-brand headset that might also have odd plugs. The headset still works in stereo (and with a mic) when connected to my laptop, desktop and Samsung S8 without this dongle, so I'm pretty sure the dongle is to

Doesn't work half the time

I guess it's not made for Google Pixel. If you move it, or bend it slightly, or don't "just plug it in like that," the audio will either squeak, or be muffled, or just be cut off entirely. He also (sort of?) just cut the lyrics out of the song so I could only hear the melody playing in the background. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and was able to hear the whole song. I have to unplug and plug both ends of this connector quite often for it to work properly. To his credit, when it works…

DOESN'T WORK WITH GOPRO HERO 8

I bought this to use with my GoPro Hero 8 because someone with questions about this product said it works with GoPro Hero 8. Q The description does not say that it is compatible with GoPro. So I went with it and the GoPro Hero 8 doesn't even register that a microphone is connected. But it works with my iPad Pro and my Samsung Galaxy Note 10, so if I'm not upset I had to buy a $50 adapter from GoPro to use the mic in my helmet that connects to my Hero 8 with it I can't say anything bad about the

It WORKS 100% with Samsung Note 10!

Earlier this week I was a little annoyed to discover that the USB-C headphone adapter that came with my new Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e didn't work with my new Galaxy Note 10+ works. It appears that the required DAC technology and/or pinout is NOT built into the N10's USB-C interface like the S5e is. Therefore any "dumb" pigtail adapter will not work.
