🖨️ HP 58X CF258X Toner Cartridge - Black - Compatible with HP LaserJet Pro M404 Series, M428 Series - High Yield Review

I have my own small tax business and need to make lots of copies reliably. This is my first order so I can't comment on the durability of the toner cartridge but I'm hoping it will last a few weeks as it's very expensive.

Bought in November 2019 as a spare. We just opened up to replace a cartridge in a printer and found the hp58A in a sealed box labeled hp58x! I understand it took too long to return BUT the difference between the two cartridges is about $100!

We bought this toner when we ran out of the last toner we had on hand. So this sat in the pantry for a few months before we opened the box. We were very, very unhappy when we took it out of the box and put it in the printer to find there was absolutely no ink in the toner cartridge. I'm not sure about all the negative reviews. This toner lasts a long time in my office. I print a lot of documents daily and just printed a report page and it says I printed 8884 pages with this cartridge. This indicates that the cartridge is empty, but the print quality is as good as day one. I use the HP M404n printer. Maybe people who get half the "page yields" are printing extremely dense documents or even photos in black and white? The only complaint about the tonic is the price. It costs…

I bought two original HP58 X's, each with 10,000 pages. Each cartridge only lasted three weeks. On average, I look at 2,000 to 2,500 pages a week. I bought a generic and it has been like this for over a month now. As much as I would like to continue using the original HP cartridge, I was disappointed that I now prefer to buy a generic cartridge.
