Good antenna! suitable for antennas

This time I bought from another seller. The first one I got fell apart pretty quickly. The SWR value is just under 1.5 SWR! Very happy about that. Also help in my case to generate more energy. My modified Uniden PRO401HH put out 2 watts from the factory, it should have been 4 watts - open and brought to par; just under 4 watts on the meter. Happy with it, much more so than the 2W it gave up! Now paired with this antenna it's a pretty good little CB! It's not as "flexible" as say a Bingfu whip…

Pros
  • Frequency: 27MHz max power: 20W
Cons
  • I'm worried

Not tuned to 11m

If you plan to use this antenna for receiving that's fine, but for transmitting it's in the 28MHz band which is intended for radio amateurs. If you are looking for a CB radio antenna, this is not the antenna you want to use.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Two worries. It ended with the return of the antenna.

Was hoping this antenna would work but ran into two problems which forced me to return it. First, the SWR on this antenna was unacceptably high. That was the main reason I sent the antenna back. Second, the long central portion of the antenna is rigid and prone to damage. I could still keep the antenna and just be very careful about how I use it (not ideal) if that were the only issue, but the high SWR was a deal breaker.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Has flaws

It works out! Read more:

Purchase and install this antenna with immediate positive results. I am using a Uniden/Bearcat BC125AT scanner in mountainous terrain. Forest and forest fires were nearby last summer. I wanted to track fire reports and crews and have the most up-to-date information. The standard antenna worked, but distant radio traffic was difficult to pick up. This antenna seems to receive clearer and further, so after a few hours of use I can immediately tell that there is a big difference to the standard…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Safety
