Review on πŸ“» HYS CB 11Meter 27Mhz BNC Antenna for Handheld CB Radio Transceivers: Cobra, Midland, Uniden! by Dawn Burg

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good antenna! suitable for antennas

This time I bought from another seller. The first one I got fell apart pretty quickly. The SWR value is just under 1.5 SWR! Very happy about that. Also help in my case to generate more energy. My modified Uniden PRO401HH put out 2 watts from the factory, it should have been 4 watts - open and brought to par; just under 4 watts on the meter. Happy with it, much more so than the 2W it gave up! Now paired with this antenna it's a pretty good little CB! It's not as "flexible" as say a Bingfu whip antenna, but the end is very flexible if you get snagged on something. Feels pretty solid this time too. Just take a look! Definitely a good CB antenna if you ever need a longer one! Not heavy at all, I sent back a heavy tactical gooseneck that I bought; Gooseneck is VERY heavy for a portable device. Doesn't hang on BNC like the first one I had, nice strong click when connected to radio. I'm not sure about the gain, but I'm guessing maybe 2.5 to 3.5 dB. I don't have a gain tester, just watts and SWR. But all readings from my PDC1 meter are very good! I can definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a good CB HT antenna! Not as short as other Bingfu and TWYRDIO whip antennas, but much better TX/RX! 10/10 - take one; You will not regret it!
