I was able to easily remove the (very tight) fan clutch on my 5.9 liter Cummins diesel. The stopper held the water pump pulley and the 36mm wrench fitted perfectly with no play.

The tool seems good but only 2 sizes of wrenches are supplied, you could spend a little more and get a set of 5 wrenches, a nice box (no box with them) and other adapters. Just order a reel seat because that's all you really need and save more than half the cost.

Pulley retainer might fit something like Toyota or Mazda or a clown car but I needed to replace the fan clutch on my diesel Dodge Ram 2500 and this tool definitely WILL NOT FIT. work! For some, this can be an expensive tool that you will only use twice (when you remove and reinstall the fan). Cuts are made with sharp blades, money well spent. If I'd cut my hand with the blades, I probably wouldn't have finished the job, plus a more expensive doctor's bill to stitch up the open wound.
