This is basically the same as henna tattooing except it turns black and looks like a real tattoo depending on how good your line or stencil is! Lasts one to a week and a half depending on how much ink you have applied and where it is. I liked it, I will buy more

Too bad I didn't look at the reviews. The gel is easy to use but it doesn't look like yagua or even henna that I had. Judging by other reviews, this is black henna. It dries dark brown and is already very dark when washed out after 2 hours instead of turning bluish black and showing throughout the day. False advertising, don't buy if you want Jagua.

Works fairly well although it is clearly black henna which can cause severe burns to some people but if you test it first it should be fine be. I usually have sensitive skin and often get eczema, but this substance has not caused a reaction on my skin.

I'm a henna artist, so I work regularly with natural henna, red instant henna and black henna. I wanted to try Jagua so I got this. Like natural henna, real jagua should leave a light stain and oxidize over the next 24-48 hours to reach its darkest color. Keep in mind that when you opened it, it smelled exactly like black henna.
