I'm a henna artist, so I work regularly with natural henna, red instant henna and black henna. I wanted to try Jagua so I got this. Like natural henna, real jagua should leave a light stain and oxidize over the next 24-48 hours to reach its darkest color. Keep in mind that when you opened it, it smelled exactly like black henna. When I used it, it immediately turned my skin a very dark black that shouldn't have been there. I wanted natural ink, not a ton of chemicals. I paid $13 for what should have cost me $1 and am very disappointed. Don't buy this.
