Rugged construction, great looks, easy to use

Very easy, does the job, makes the cable transparent when properly connected. I would recommend this product to others

Pros
  • Amplifier Installation
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Pretty good on Power Distribution Components

The fuse distribution is very solid. I used this with 8 gauge cable for an input and 2 outputs. The inlet is 4 gauge but I was able to screw it down to 8 gauge. I pulled it and it's still holding up well. I used ferrules on the ends of the cable to add some strength to the ends of the cable. That thing is pretty heavy. There's a lot of metal in there. I sealed the unused holes with tape to avoid accidentally hitting anything. I used it to power a compact amp and subwoofer under the seat. work…

Pros
  • Power Distribution Components
Cons
  • Nothing here

Works great, clean install, beware of the plastic sleeve inside!

Easy installation. I love that there are multiple ways you enter 1 lead. Side in or End in. The plastic clasp on the lid could be a little tighter and more secure. I wrapped him in duct tape to get rid of his obsessive compulsive disorder. When I first plugged in a cable, it kept pulling out. I finally figured it out by unscrewing it completely, the screw and inner sleeve come out and there is a small piece of clear plastic tubing inside the sleeve. I'm not sure what it's for, but I'm guessing…

Pros
  • The interior is made of copper and the lid is made of high-strength, durable industrial plastic
Cons
  • Requires a socket
