Good Best product for horses

This is a very good product at a great price. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because he says he's about the same size as a "horse" but taller than an "arabian" size. I read the reviews before purchasing and it worked great for the Arabian I put on, but it would be a bit small for my quarterback.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Only available in black

Excellent mask for the price

This is fantastic especially for the price. Last month the flies were so bad we had a stable full of horses with watery eyes. We ordered a few of these and were pleasantly surprised at their quality considering how cheap they are. They fit well, held up well on all horses and eliminated teary eyes. I've always been loyal to Kensington Help, but they're just as good for a fraction of the cost.

Something more. But good quality.

I liked the mask. Unfortunately a little smaller than the previous mask (different brand) that I bought in the farm shop. I have 3 registered four-legged friends. It fits two of them well, but the adjustment straps could be a bit longer. I corrected the 3rd as much as possible but still only sickened the horse's jawbone. So I can't use it on her. Otherwise I like the look of the product.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Small mask is good for horses

With 32 horses of different breeds ranging from 14-2 to 16-3 hands and weighing from 700 to 1500 pounds I'm always on the lookout for fly masks to go with protect horses from flying. This mask appears to be well made at a great price but is listed as a horse mask which will fit horses between 900 and 1200 pounds. Not true! The only horse that matched the mask was a 700-pound Arabian with a prettier head. Note the small size of this mask!

Very happy with the pest control

Bought many masks. This is one of my favorites. Why pay more when there is quality for the price. The mask is very well made, plenty of room for the eyes and a small loop for the leash is a nice touch. He seems small. One of my horses weighs 14.3900 pounds. and wears a cob/arab headdress so i bought based on the reviews and went with the standard. Fits perfectly. I have no problem with my horses taking their masks off so I can't fix this issue.

Good mask for the price

The mask fits well and holds up well. My horse tore the velcro once, but it hasn't torn since I sewed it on. He can't use it in the paddock because he sticks his head over the door, gets caught on the latch, pulls and tears the velcro. But in the arena he stayed to protect his eyes from flies. I love the fleece around the edges and the little reflective triangle on the front. I know where he is when I get him out of the arena at night.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

It didn't fit my horse's head (not even close).

This does not fit my horse's head (not even close). The velcro chin strap comes out the other side (for hooking) only 1/4 inch. The strap is 6 inches long and should be fully attached. My horse is 16 inches tall, weighs 1050 pounds and wears a normal size bridle and halter. . In any case, his usual bridle is too big for him. Too bad it didn't work as the mask looks well made. Maybe a pony will come too.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • No

The bridge of the nose can cause chafing.

My horse needed a 24/7 mosquito mask to protect his eyes as he was going blind in his left eye and that eye had to be removed. So this mask seemed like a good choice and it held up very well. But the edge of the nose left a trace of friction. Too little food in the nose area. I also tried it on my other horse to make sure he wasn't isolated from my bad eye horse. Did the same. Otherwise it's a good mask. But in the fly season, there is no need for wounds!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
