Wide axle housing on the hub

It is very difficult to find an axle bolt for this hub for my compressor. The only way is to go to a machine shop and ask them to make one for me.

One of the bearings has worn out after a few uses.

For installation behind a lawn mower. Used about 10 hours, bearings came out on one side. Might be suitable for another purpose.

Good tire but no 1/2 " adapter as listed

Truly a 5 star product with a 3 star description. The product description states that adapters are included to use this wheel on a 1/2" shaft. Not true; only 5/8" and 3/4" shafts can be used for the items supplied. Built in 5/8" bearing comes with an alternate set of 3/4" bearings. To install this on my Coleman washer with a 1/2" axle shaft I had to use copper tubing with a 1/2" ID and 5/8" OD buy pipe into the wheel and marked the spot where both bearings would be worn. I used a pipe cutter to

Wide axle housing on the hub

Fits well, quality seems VG

Easy to install on a light boat trailer - I like the fit and feel, nice finish. Appears to be a quality product. I don't carry heavy loads and probably don't use it for that given the comments. But for a light load it seems like a good choice

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • No instructions

Good tire but no 1/2 " adapter listed in the description

Really a 5 star product with a 3 star description. According to the product description, adapters are included to use this wheel on 1/2"-2" shafts. Not true; only 5/8" and 3/4" shanks can be used for included items. 5/8" bearings installed, kit includes alternate 3/4" bearing set. To install this on my Coleman sink with a 1/2" axle shaft, I had to purchase copper tubing with a 1/2" ID and a 5/8" OD. I inserted the tube into the wheel and marked the spot where both bearings would be worn. I used
