NiceTQ Replacement CFD S50 Portable Cassette Review

This cable is no good. When I turn on the radio it seems to take longer than usual for it to turn on. The radio also switches itself off after a few minutes with this cable.

This was a replacement cord for a portable CD player. Perfect because it saved me $35 on buying a new one and saved an electronic device from a junkyard.

The power cord didn't work - I can't figure out if it's a cord or a "boombox". The box is battery operated, not wired. The cable does not appear to be damaged. The Sony model seems correct for the cable. It's puzzling! It's stupid to return the cable.

great value! Works and fits perfectly with the Go Diego Go ghetto blaster that I gave to my son 16 years ago and passed on to my daughter. I was worried it wouldn't fit because I've looked everywhere for a replacement cable, but it fits perfectly!

I asked this question before purchasing: Q: Does this work with Magnavox CD/Cassette/Stereo Radio Boombox? Most answers said it's possible, but it's not. The spacing between the "pins" does not match the spacing on the string. Not suitable. Fortunately not too much money. Edit 8/28/20: I was able to do this by cutting a slot in the connector to match the spacing with the spacing on the boombox (see photo). Not a perfect solution, but a working one.

Someone must have returned it but kept the cable. didn't check the box because she ended up in a hospital and then a rehab center and won't be using it for a while. The connector seems to fit properly, but the pinholes are too close together to even plug it in. If you need a replacement cable. ATTENTION PIN AND PLUG SIZE. I think I'll end up buying rechargeable batteries…

I was surprised that the plug has no holes. However, I have tested this and you can still use US plugs with no holes. The holes help hold the plug more firmly in newer (post 1965) outlets, but are not required for the operation of the electronic device. This replacement power cord worked great with the CD player I bought it for. I just hope it works in all outlets (which means it doesn't break down) in the classes I'm going to use it in.

I bought this cable thinking it was the original cable with a white stripe down the side, no when it arrived, I found it so Cheap Chinese cable. I ordered 2 so it wasn't a mistake, the false advert cost me $10 they bought for about $1 each I found out on a Chinese website. The plug didn't even have safety ground holes like all of our standard plugs, also the cable should be rigid but it's like a rubber band it flops like noodles. So if you want to spend your good money on cables, go somewhere…
