My plate broke right out of the box

I have used this plate with my Powerextra multifunction battery and BMPCC 4K camera. The tablet connected via WAIPU started up normally for about 30 seconds, then the red light went out and the camera started blinking and turning off. I tried the plate again with the original Sony NP-F970 battery and again the plate flickered. I tried using this with a dummy battery in the camera and again it didn't work. I sent the record back.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I'll write back later

Excellent price. Fix it though.

Tames np-f battery power and doesn't charge all day BUT the rear end leaves a lot to be desired. The screw has a plastic feel and does not fully engage. The velcro is not strong enough to compensate for the lack of strength of the screws. SmallRig or Tilta version, $33-40, all metal, screws in and DOES NOT move. The junkie blind spot version isn't all metal, but it's very durable. It costs $60 because it has a USB port, a Type-C port, and a Type-B port. It can power a few things, but costs $60.

Best budget battery

I recently purchased a used Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (1080p original version) for my YouTube channel. I needed a battery solution and after some research I realized I had to have one of these. I bought one a long time ago from another company in anticipation of this camera, but I was sure it would only run on 8 volts. That was wrong because the camera needs 12 volts. I ordered this one, plugged it in, put in a Sony NP battery and it worked flawlessly. It can be clipped or screwed to…

Make my BMPCC 4K camera work for hours!

This device solves the problem of constant battery replacement with BMPCC 4K. You can also change the battery without turning off the camera. A Sony NP-F970 battery lasts an hour and a half. The only problem is that it is very bulky but when I use a tripod it can be placed perfectly as it has a belt strap that allows you to tie it to your leg. I found a way to use it with the DJI Ronin S as a counterweight on one of the unit's shoulders without placing it directly on top of the camera. That's…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Upgraded from 5 stars to 1 star. Suddenly there is some kind of internal short circuit and the red light indicating contact with the battery flashes intermittently, indicating a loss of battery power. It doesn't work reliably for more than a few seconds before shutting down. First Review: I've had trouble changing the batteries on my BMPCC or AC Tethered since I bought it. Stumbled across this and decided to give it a try. Worked like a dream. Only got a few shots, will be back with an update…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

I bought these specifically for the original Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (BMPCC) and you can use much larger Sony NP-F batteries to power the BMPCC to provide power for longer periods of time. time interval. A few first impressions: - Good build quality: Yes, it's plastic, but of better quality, and the overall fit and finish is excellent. - This is a simple solution, connect the NP-F970 battery, the red light will be on. , connect the 12V wire to BMPCC and it will work properly. The…
