Antistatic ESD Safe, Static Dissipative Solvent Dispensers with Stainless Steel Pump. Bottle sizes 4oz, 6oz, 8oz. Purity Pump will not allow standing fluid to reenter the bottle. Bottle has an average surface resistivity of 10 raise to power 9 to 10 raise to power 10 ohm per square and will dissipate a static charge of +/- 5000V in less than two seconds. Used for dispensing acetone, isopropanol alcohol, and other such solvents.

Extremely low quality for the price, leaks badly.

Sorry you can't give any stars who ever thought this was a great bottle for anything but water, crazy you touch this bottle and everything you have spills out it's not worth the price of a nickel plated one Plug, no matter how hard I try, I can't tighten the top enough that it doesn't leak, and the top cap won't close or jam. So if you want to use this for acetone, never move it This is for you.

I bought this unit a month ago on the advice of a cousin who repairs electronics on military helicopters. I use it for alcohol retention to remove excess flux from freshly soldered joints (with MG Chemicals 852 hog hair brush: http://amazon.com/dp/B004SPCXYO). It's stable on the countertop, works well mechanically, and doesn't seem to evaporate the alcohol much (although I sometimes have to prime the pump if I haven't used it for too long). These little dispensers are, um, irreplaceable! I use them on my workbench to dispense solvents like acetone and paint thinner, and in the bathroom to dispense hydrogen peroxide. My wife uses one for nail polish remover. In case you don't know how they work, the top is a small plate-shaped container with a hinged lid.
