🎧 Sony DNS313F S2 Sports MP3/CD Walkman: AM/FM Tuner, White Review

Sony DNS313F S2 Sport MP3/CD Walkman AM/FM. Excellent CD player but shock resistant. No bumps or rebounds affected it during use. Very disappointed with the fidelity of the FM radio. Bass could not be adjusted.

I ride this walkman so it gets salt water on it but otherwise I've been pretty careful with it. The screen died within 3 weeks and now after 6 weeks it doesn't play at all. While the case appears to be fairly waterproof, the headphone jack isn't protected.

I bought this Walkman for my wife who has macular degeneration and reads CD books. This is her third CD player and by far her favorite. The controls are easy for the visually impaired, and she particularly likes the memory function, which allows her to turn off her Walkman and resume playback from where she left off.

This player is excellent. I've never had a bad Sony player in over 20 years. My old ones still work, but there were no CDs back then. Beautiful design and color with a strap that takes a lot of getting used to so as not to forget the player. Develop good habits of taking care of it and it should last a long time. I stopped buying portable CD players a long time ago because they always had poor AM/FM reception. Sometimes I'm right under the Empire State Building and sometimes I'm in New Jersey. There are times when I need a great strong signal and a good weak signal on FM. You don't always get both, even with local/DX settings. This radio performs adequately in both environments.
