Good protection for camera lens and gimbal assembly

The main reason is the physical protection of the lens and gimbal on the front of my new Sony AX53, from the factory it's wide open to dust and dirt.

Does what it should. with a nice side effect!

I have lenses with three different filter ring diameters: 49 mm, 52 mm and 67 mm. Before a recent trip I decided to buy steps for smaller diameter lenses so I only had to take one size filter with me. This worked brilliantly, allowing these lenses to accept 67mm filters. It even had the nice side effect of eliminating the slight vignetting that came with my larger 18-55mm zoom range when using native 49mm filters!

WILL NOT FIT THE REAL LENS

Firstly I have an Opteka fisheye lens with a 62mm male thread and this adapter is very small (almost no thread) and I couldn't even put the lens on attach to the camera. This may work for filters but will NOT work for real lenses. be careful. Secondly maybe I twisted it too tight or something and couldn't unscrew it from the camera and ended up having to use pliers and it still wouldn't come out and instead just bent so it went straight into the bin.

This reinforcement ring will ruin your filters/lenses. Do not buy.

I bought this product thinking it would allow me to use my 77mm ND filter with my 67mm lens, which it did. However, once attached, it will NOT come off. I was able to detach the boost ring from the ND, but the poorly processed thread of the boost ring was completely stuck. I intentionally screwed the boost ring in gently and loosely to avoid this problem, but this product is cancer to whatever you attach it to. It is NOT removable no matter how you remove it and I want to return it now as it is
