Too Transparent To Cover

I bought the red version and unfortunately it's not thick enough. This vinyl is translucent. Even folded in half, it's still transparent. Which really defeats the reason anyone would buy this in the first place. So it's the hard way.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Contact Seller

Film medium good for vinyl film

Vinyl is fine. It looks very nice but is quite difficult to apply and has air gaps all the time no matter what you do. I've even noticed that after a few days it might start to loosen up and show a few air pockets. Good for small little projects but not the best or optimal wrapper

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Upgrades

Falls off the reel like garbage

The material itself looks good and has good adhesion. However, the problem lies in the provision of the material. Because the media unrolls as it feeds into the printer, bubbles and wrinkles appear on the media. hopefully they fix that in future rolls of material. I've had this problem with two reels now.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Generally OK, but...

Use a hair dryer to make it flexible

It's easy to use if you know what you're doing. It really looked like pink carbon fiber. I didn't really pay attention to the length and width of the paper so it was very long and the width was short but it worked fine for the purposes I was using. But you definitely have to know how to deal with it. I recommend using a hair dryer to make it more flexible.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • not reliable

3D carbon fiber sheet is not carbon fiber

However, I think this "virtual carbon fiber sheet" is an excellent product. My finished projects are just beautiful. While the glue works well on flat surfaces, I've found that I have to use cyanoacrylate [superglue] to hold the edges in place around the edges, but for me that's not a disadvantage, more of a bonus because I reposition the slide if necessary to achieve the perfect fit or placement.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Difficult to say

They fit well. Looks awesome

I used this to cover the desktop of a used computer to make it look like a brand new awesome gaming computer. It wasn't very easy to wrap the edges and stay straight, but it wasn't too difficult. Works best with 2 people. If a part was folded I used a blow dryer on low heat to give it a little more flexibility to fit odd positions and cover up the imperfections. The computers have been wrapped for 6 months and there is no sign that the foil will peel off.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Upgradable

Looks good but the product is not of very good quality

Vinyl feels nice and looks ok too. Glue is not very good. It comes off so easily. Make lots of bubbles. Response to heating is average. The color changes after about a week. I'm okay with the color, but I'm not very happy with the adhesion. It complicates my job and the results have been terrible. I had to repeat the process as it got stuck. Too bad I didn't send it back the first time. But it's too late as I repeated the application several times.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • High price

Since then I've used another product and I liked it https

First time with vinyl. I used this on the Barcade control panel. It went well but not impressive. It is very hard. Adding heat would make it more workable, but all I need is heat to wrap around the edges so I can put a T molding on top. I have since used a different product and I liked https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AWRE088/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 better. It just doesn't look as real as I was hoping.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
