Boards look sturdy for my needs. I have yet to have a need to use them. I dont need $300+ boards for the off roading I do. These will work just fine. And if they break I can get new ones.With that said there are no instructions on the best way to mount them. The hardware that comes with is mostly plastic and I wouldn't trust it long term. I rigged up my own mounting.If you dont mount them the bag they come in comes in handy and can be used as a mat if needed. It is not heavy duty though.5 star…

Best product EVER! I bought it from amazon. And I got stuck in snow last week. I put both product behind rear tire of my truck. I got in my truck and reverse and give some gas to go, WOW! It helped me get out of snow quickly just like your getting out of snot! Wow. Good thing I got this so I don’t have to wait for tow truck for hours. This get me done within 3 minutes. It looks like a great product. The bag that came with it is not made of good quality though, it came with holes in it due to the boards' "pikes".

In one afternoon while sledding in the local mountains of San Diego, I recovered 11 cars.Yes. I recovered 11 auto in one 4hr window using these recovery boards. I will buy another pair just in case i need two seat. If you off-road, these are a must have

I know it doesn't matter much for a functional item, but the olive color is more of a dark olive drab grey green. In low lighting it looks black. In bright light it is still much darker than typical army green. I wanted the lighter green, in part to absorb less sunlight, and to look good with my paint color.Will post again if I get to test them on our Van/RV. They seem very sturdy and flexible enough, but my inspection won't compare to driving on them.

I bought these last year and finally got a chance to use them. I had dug myself in at the rear tires. I used the boards to dig out to the bottom of the tire and put it under it. I tried to take it easy but the tires spun on the board and all of the knobs came off instantly. I wasn't able to get out and was pulled out by someone going by. He did recommend not throwing the board away but putting short bolts in it and it will make it more reliable. I will take his advise. When I use them again…

I’ve had them for a few months now, gotten me out of some tricky spots! They’re a no brainer to have with you on off-road trips! I highly recommend having 2 pairs.

Finally got a chance to use this after Portland was hit with a snow/ice storm. I didn’t need them myself with the lift & 4 low but was able to use these boards to get my partner’s Mazda CX-5 out.Didnt see any stress points after use or cracks despite using in the cold and on semi uneven surfaces. Happy with this product and price.

I’m in Seattle, so Washingtonians know how was our Christmas. Anyways, I haven’t got to test them with myself but I got some kids’ AWD car unstuck from the snow covered pavement right across the street from my apt with no problem at all, in less than 5 minutes. Excellent budget traction boards I must say.

These were purchased as a "just in case." I think the price is okay for what you get. I took one star off because the "carry bag" is crap. Not quality and stinks. There's no way anyone would want to keep it in their vehicle.With that said, I haven't had to use them yet (thankfully) but we will see what happens when I do.

Had to use this on a 31 foot RV that got stuck in the snow and ice. It worked first time and with no damage. Great product, solidly made and it works.

I drove 2400 miles through Baja Mexico over 3 months, and used these to get my Sprinter van out of the sand 4 times. Sturdy sand bridge. The integrated handles are a help to position and remove. And also when using as a digging and scraping. tool. Holes make it easy to mount.

These recovery boards are GREAT! They are very well built and sturdy. I have already had to use them and they can take a beating! No cracks and maintained shape. The shipping was very fast as well. The only reason I took away a star was because they are orange and not red like advertised. Great bords!

Most important feature, they do work. But for the price, it would be great if they worked more than once. The lugs melted off with just a little bit of wheel spin, and a huge crack formed on one as well. If you plan on using them more than once, I'd look for something higher quality, or with a better warranty. The bag is a nice touch though, helps deal with them when they are muddy

They simply work great. My tow-behind trailer and truck were hopelessly stuck in deep, soft mud so I ordered these. The tires gripped the boards easily. The boards didn’t seem to slide at all on the mud. It was like driving on firm ground.

Used these last week in the dunes, out both boards under the front tires of a stuck vehicle (2 wheel drive) and they were able to get right out with good traction from these. Good product for a decent price. If you wanna spend more for a fancy name then go ahead but these have worked fantastic.
