Not Worth the Risk: my feedback

As my tests showed, this product failed to meet even the basic safety standards. It's not worth taking the risk of using this hazardous material handling product.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor safety performance.

Bought them when they were $5. 06 package.

Bought when they were $5.06 a pack and sized just right for a 2.5" 9.5mm hard drive. You have to wiggle it a bit to pack it as it was just the right size. It was just what I needed to store my extra hard drives, but I probably wouldn't have bought it for $9.57.

Pros
  • Transparent easy content identification
Cons
  • No power

Does what it's designed to do

The main reason I bought these was to package a range of computer components that I no longer had ESD protected packages for , in preparation for a big move. In particular, some of them were motherboards with small PCIe cards or CPUs still in slots that I could just put in a large bag, then temporarily seal, wrap in bubble wrap, and pack away. The size may seem excessive, but for me it has worked on a range of XL-ATX, E-ATX, and SSB motherboards, all of which fall outside of the commonlyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 3 mil Provides excellent puncture and tear protection
Cons
  • Only available in black
