Obviously very cheap but also very flimsy and flimsy. I used it to replace the more expensive activated carbon filter I used to use. After installing it, I could definitely smell outside odors like car exhaust more clearly with all the windows closed. It doesn't filter odors nearly as well as a carbon filter. Next time I'll probably spend the extra money on a carbon filter again.

This filter is perfect for 2010 Ford Edge. Apparently the factory, with all their wisdom, went from an elementary filter like this element to a simple plastic screen (which has a very large spacing between the screens). The mesh is great at keeping debris out of the fan but does absolutely NOTHING to prevent particulate matter/spores/pollen from entering the cabin. It was such an easy (and CHEAP!) upgrade for my Ford Edge that I would recommend it to anyone who lives in dusty or highly allergic

Mazda cx9 replacement fits well. And for all the people who compare it to other types of filters, it's not an activated carbon or HEPA filter, it's the original filter that comes with the car. months (time flies, doesn't it?). I'm sure this has resulted in less airflow, not because it's constricting, but because I'm an idiot and should have changed it 5 months ago. But it reinforced my original assessment. So I just put a new one in and will update it in 6 months. I bought my first one on June 19th and now it's May 20th. I'm impressed with how well it filters, as you can see in the image I just added (it caught a lot of stuff), and I'm even more impressed that it hasn't felt bad yet.
