🔧 Restore the Power with Valterra RP320 Rocket Hand Pump Repair Kit in Black Review

I bought this as a fallback to rebuild my pump in the event of a breakdown. I bought it because Murphy's Law sucks sometimes!

The kit meets all of the stated specifications. Better buy a new pump. When I removed the base from the pump the seal was broken so you will have to use silicone or something to get the base right when you put it back together.

All parts of the kit replaced and working as new. I use Valterra as a manual keg beer pump and the original parts only lasted about 6 months. Kind of confusing.

Our original Rocket pump finally failed this year after 20-30 years of service, so we ordered both a repair kit and a new pump. It was disappointing that the repair kit was for a newer pump model than ours which required more parts than were included in the kit. So we didn't try to fix it; We just installed a new pump instead.

I bought this set hoping to fix my sister's pump that wasn't pumping water. All the parts fit well but as the basic design of the pump is not perfect and the body cracks when the gland nuts around the spout and handle are tightened the kit was unusable. Four stars because it has all the parts needed, but before you commit to this kit, you should disassemble your pump and see if there are any cracks in the housing at the ports. In this case you will have to buy a brand new pump.
