I love these hanging dehumidifier bags to help combat the moisture in my closets. Plastic containers are more beneficial but easier to use. I like the scent much more than other brands. Seems to last about a month indoors here in Southwest Florida.

I need to vent cabinets and they work great. I hang them on hooks and after a month they get enough water and I buy more. It doesn't smell, so don't be afraid that my clothes will deteriorate. I would suggest that you check at hardware stores first. I've seen them MUCH smaller than what I paid for at Revain.

Taking off two stars because, despite being advertised as unflavored, they had a scented coating on the outside that felt a little sticky or powdery. We could smell it right out of the box. It was removed with some rubbing alcohol on a paper napkin. What's the deal with this unnecessary scent? If you have severe allergies I wouldn't recommend it, but if you can tolerate the wiping process it might work. Unfortunately, other hanging style brands are also scented, so it's the lesser of two evils.

I originally ordered these at the request of a family member who wanted to store a wedding dress in one of my large closets. We live in South Florida and the AC is on most of the time.
