Would give between 4 and 5 starts if it was an option.

We got this split unit this year instead of making costly repairs to our old steam heating system in our 120 year old ranch style farmhouse. We have not tried the cooling yet, but our house stays pretty cool in the summer and we barely ever use AC.so I'm sure it will work just fine. We mostly bought it for heating, and it has been almost exactly as we expected. It is installed in our main living space which is about 750sq ft not including a small hallway and four additional rooms that we keep…

Well built and works great

I now have 2 senville units, the 24000 btu aura and this 9000 btu model. The 24000 I've had for a couple of years and it's worked amazingly well. Performs great even at temps below 0 degrees and cools effortlessly even with temps around 100 degrees. This unit seems no different so far and after switching to these from my old ac my electric bill is significantly less. Both units have really solid build quality and hopefully last a long time. These come packaged well on a pallet and installation…

My new sunroom is an oasis!

I just added a sunroom to my lanai in Southwest Florida. I had gotten quotes from A/C dealers that ranged from $5k - $8k to have a mini split installed. I did my research and decided on this Senville. Great price, high SEER, heating ability for the 6 days a year it actually gets cold here. Obviously, had to pay an electrician to run legal electric to it, and a VERY reasonable fee to have the unit installed, but the final cost was WAY less than the A/C people quoted. It turned on instantly, and…

Works great in my review

Installed 2 units myself 3 years ago and they still work great. There was a little confusion concerning the neutral wire (don’t use it) but other than that install was very easy. I did not use any ac kit to purge the lines. These units do not work well unless the internal filters are squeaky clean, if they look clean wash them anyway. The feature that turns off the display is nice as the temperature light is not dimmable and too bright in a bedroom. One small complaint is that the remote display…

Pros
  • ‎Alexa Enabled
Cons
  • The unit may not be as user-friendly or intuitive as other mini split units

All the parts needed to install came in the box, all that was needed was 220 volt source to power up. Very pleased with this product, it's very quite and the blower has a "turbo" button to help cool down quickly

Pros
  • - The Senville AURA is highly energy efficient, earning the Energy Star rating and helping customers save money on utility bills
Cons
  • The unit's wired controller may not be as convenient or accessible as wireless options

Best mini split we have owned!

We purchased two of these mini splits for two Fourseason areas in our home and over the last few months they have performed flawlessly. We especially like the turbo feature, which we did not have with previous units. It actually heats up a room really quickly and in northern Indiana in the winter time this is very important. Both rooms are 80% windows and it keeps the temperature very comfortable. I really couldn’t discourage anyone from purchasing these units at such a great price and having a

Indoor Unit is LEFT SIDE feed.

All of the documentation and marketing for these units suggests that the indoor unit can be fed from any of 4 positions. Left and Right sides, thru wall or horizontally out the sides. (When looking at the unit). Even the installation manual states "Default feed is right side when looking at the unit". HOWEVER THIS IS VERY INCORRECT. The indoor unit has a hard connected line set that is indeed on the right side (when looking at the unit) however it is bent to feed about 80% of the way across the

Pros
  • Works amazing, it's been installed for a week and so far so good.
Cons
  • The installation process may be more complicated and time-consuming compared to other mini split units

A capable heat pump

This SENA-18HF unit was relatively easy to install and there are several excellent Youtube videos about the installation. The key step is to properly perform vacuum and pressure tests to ensure the connections do not leak. I have been using it for home heating. This unit has been performing very well but I have a couple of comments. The unit frequently goes into defrosting cycle (DF). This Senville unit is the second mini split that I installed at home this fall; the other is the Air-Con 18000…

Temperature keep going down on AC setting

I change buck to 4 stars because I found out must set the temperature 2 to 3 degree higher for cooling. This is updated after try ACI set temperature at 77 but keep going down to 74.before I turned off ACI set for Auto, temperature keep goin upHeating was work perfectlyVery easy to install if wall facing outside but I had installed 2.5ft a way from wall above the fireplace. Most difficult installation was 5/8 copper pipe because need bend 90 degree at 2 places. I purchased extra piping set and…

Pros
  • ‎Yes
Cons
  • The unit may not be able to cool or heat rooms as quickly as other mini split units

Ok so far cons were the hole u drill in wall to pass copper thru was either off center a inch or i made mistake but really think it was just off some. The remote is not the best , doesn’t reach as far as should and buttons should light up so when your half asleep u can see were to press and last is maybe they should add a vacuum pump to the order or make customers KNOW they need a vacuum pump from the adds , some people dont suck the air out of lines and still works it seems but probably wont…

Works Great! - my new review

Arrived on time, packaged well, no damage, all on one pallet via FedEx. Installed in two days. System has to be vacuumed with a vacuum pump, to verify no leaks, prior to releasing the 410A. System works great. Inside unit and outside unit are both very quiet. Cools better than was expected.

Aura - Easy install operates perfectly

I’m a HVAC serviceman installed others but Senville Aura heat pump was really easy to install, very efficient and quiet. Heats up my garage in 10 min from 46F (FP) to setpoint 62F in 10 min then purrs like a kitchen with minimum amperage to maintain room temp. Can’t run AC right now because it’s winter where I live but suspect it’ll be fine. Very happy and would suggest all others to purchase. 18,000 btu/hr for 2-1/2 car insulated garage.

Pros
  • ‎AHRI Certified, UL Listed, Energy Star
Cons
  • The unit may not be as durable or long-lasting as other mini split units

Very quiet and efficient unit.

This unit exceeded all our expectations. Thanks for attention. It runs very quiet and heats our entire house with huge vaulted ceilings.

  • The unit's air filtration system may not be as effective as other mini split units, leading to poor air quality
