All of the documentation and marketing for these units suggests that the indoor unit can be fed from any of 4 positions. Left and Right sides, thru wall or horizontally out the sides. (When looking at the unit). Even the installation manual states "Default feed is right side when looking at the unit". HOWEVER THIS IS VERY INCORRECT. The indoor unit has a hard connected line set that is indeed on the right side (when looking at the unit) however it is bent to feed about 80% of the way across the back of the unit along the bottom edge (inside the case), which actually puts the connections on the LEFT side (when looking at the unit). There is no way to bend that tubing back to the right side, and it's not removable. I don't see how they possibly think this unit could be fed from the right side. THe same goes for the drain line. It's fed from the right, but piped to the left with a non-removable pipe. So how is this able to be fed from the right side?
