🎧 Zune Docking Station Review

Doesn't fit my Zune. I have one that I bought in 2007 and the dock doesn't fit. It's just a docking station, no cables, and should be for a later release, probably because it doesn't even come close.

Finding this genuine Zune docking station in the Microsoft Revain store at a huge discount makes me very happy. It's easy and works with whatever version of Zune or Zune HD you have.

A Zune battery was recently replaced. I know nobody else uses the Zune, but this thing has 120GB of storage. All the music I will ever listen to can be stored here without requiring internet access to use it. This dock was the perfect accessory. I had to remove the outer glossy panel in order for this particular Zune to fit. But it's the perfect complement to my Zune.

I purchased this dock with the intention of using it in my car as an integrated interface for my Zune. I used some 3M dual lock strips (a much stronger alternative to velcro) to secure it to the dash. At first I was concerned that the Zune would fly out of its socket when going around corners or over bumps, but it's been over a month now and this thing hasn't budged once! For the price of a docking station, you can't beat the value and convenience. for use in a vehicle system!

I bought this for a great price so it could probably get another star. But all you get is a document. No cables, no dock power option, you just get a dock. This makes it almost useless if you don't have an AC to USB adapter, a Zune cable (since it actually connects to a Zune cable, not a DC cable or standard USB) and if you don't have the AV out want to use, then you also need a cable for it. If you want to buy this from a regular store you will be paying a lot. Installing the Zune in the cradle is difficult because the connector is in the cradle area. The board sucks! You might as well go an extra 2 feet and hit the buttons on the Zune - defeating the purpose of having a kickstand in the first place. Yes, I'm changing the battery in the remote control.
