Review on 🎮 HyperX Armada 25: 24.5-Inch FHD Gaming Monitor with 240Hz, G-SYNC, and 1ms Response Time by Lorenzo Araujo

In general, I have few negative reviews about this monitor. I will only highlight a few positive points. I love that it comes with a monitor mount and not just a stand. I think that makes a lot more sense. The colors look fantastic. Its brightness is more than enough to be used for everything from productivity to gaming to watching movies. The high refresh rate is amazingly smooth (read on to find out more). The monitor itself glows insane! The monitor mount/arm is heavier than the monitor. The low response time of 1 ms ensures a truly responsive gaming experience. Just a great monitor. Let's talk about the biggest advantage of the monitor, the 240Hz refresh rate. It looks amazing. IF you have enough horsepower to actually drive it. Consoles run at 120Hz, so you won't be able to use their full potential. You really need a PC and I mean a MEAT PC! If you want to see that max refresh rate in game I think anything less than 3080, I just don't think it will cut it. Also keep in mind that you only get the max resolution of 1080p and I think that's really my problem. I find it very hard to justify the cost of this monitor ($450 at the time of writing this review) and you don't even get 1440p. I mean, you can spend the same money and get a 1440p monitor with a 120Hz refresh rate, which most people can probably watch anyway. So it gets 4 stars for a great 1080p gaming monitor. I would also like to give it a secondary rating. For the overall value I would give 2.5-3 stars. To be clear, if you have enough horsepower to hit 240Hz in games, it's really something to check out. However, I think I'd rather spend that money on a 1440p monitor with a 120Hz refresh rate. For ME 120Hz is more than enough and I would like a clearer and higher resolution. However, for some people, having the smoothest gaming experience is important, and if you're one of those people, then this monitor might be for you.
