It saves time and is easy to use.

Bought for my daughter. Their exhaust system was rusted all over, especially the top of the resonator. Sometimes a spot of rust shows up leaving an inch wide hole and a very noisy car. Luckily for them, this sealant can hide fairly large holes. The only thing is that it might take multiple uses to close the gap over a big hole. Usually she applies something to the edges of the hole, waits 30 minutes, starts the car for 10 minutes, waits another 30 minutes for the car to cool down, and then…

Excellent repair material

The material was perfect for my application. I had a crack about 1/4" x 1.5" in the exhaust pipe. It's right next to the attached piece of heat shield so it was easier to fill, but it would work if there was a 1/4 crack somewhere. Applied as intended and works great, truly amazing. It's only been a week so I don't know how long it will be. Photos show before, immediately after application and fully cured. Also smooths out well. There's still a lot left in the tube. UPDATE MARCH 2020: After a…

It wasn't enough to cause an audible exhaust leak, but condensate ran out. I figured an exhaust sealant would be a quick fix as opposed to re-installing and re-welding the flanges. I was a little dismayed when I received the product and found that it wasn't epoxy or solvent based so I wasn't sure how effective it would be. I went ahead and tried following the…

Seems Good - Fillers, Adhesives & Sealants

This material is intended as a one part epoxy for the repair of exhaust systems. The consistency is similar to toothpaste. Easily shaped/smeared/instrumented with a gloved finger or the back of a plastic spoon, popsicle stick, etc. However, avoid getting on the skin if you can. It won't bridge large gaps on its own—you'll need heat-resistant fiber tape, fiberglass mat, or a suitable piece of metal—but it does seal small holes and torn seams fairly well. Smooth it out to your liking and then let
