Feedback on the monitor if it worked: The monitor itself is solid. Brightness, colors and black levels are all a treat. The resolution and refresh rate provide a comfortable experience for both gaming and working. Colors aren't as good as IPS panels in this range, but they're pretty good. Black levels are better than IPS, so it's a compromise. Black blur is present but can be easily corrected via the settings. However, the overshoot is still present even with adjusted settings. There are many inputs and a hub and they work well. Issue: After a little over a year, a line appears at the top of the screen and a dashed line at the bottom right. There's also a small strip of light blue pixels in the upper-right corner. Also, anchoring the window to the right side of the screen or placing the window at the top right (including full screen windows, sometimes depending on pixel composition, not really sure what's causing this, but I think there's motion and/or bright pixels in the upper right area) causes the entire screen to reflect and distort pixels. This can result in a screen lock. When it freezes, the screen will slowly turn red and then black. The monitor needs to be cycled on and off to fix this. If the window that caused the hover is still there, it will result in an endless hover loop until you move it and toggle the monitor on and off. And the worst thing is the ASUS warranty, so they offer you an extended replacement with a lock on your card until you send your device back I understand. However, they have no stock and don't know when they will be available, although there are many new units for sale on their website. You can send it in but you will be without a monitor for about 2 weeks, I hope that's it. On top of that, they provide ZERO shipping materials, it's entirely up to you. If damaged in transit, it will be "examined". It's not enough for me if you can't even provide the right shipping material. All this is unacceptable for a monitor in this price range. Notice to ASUS. It's crazy that a customer has to go through so many hurdles because of a product failure through no fault of their own. Your product has failed due to hardware issues, support your product and make it right. This way you retain more customers.
