Very easy setup, just use a mallet and wooden block to pound into ground. Not as sturdy as other umbrella stands that have 3-4 legs, therefore, my umbrella tends to lean and not stand upright. Would purchase again unless the 3-4 legged ones become available.

It's exactly what I wanted! Only thing, It's missing the hard, plastic insert for smaller poles! I ordered two more, from another company, hoping they have the inserts!

I'm using this for a heavy metal birdhouse mounted on a pole. However, I can see why this anchor would work in sand or soil as it's heavy steel with a very wide and long spike to sufficiently support a beach umbrella.My mounting pole came with a plastic sleeve that had to be carefully submerged in the ground than surround by rocks to anchor it. Works well as an umbrella stand/holder in the backyard. The two prongs makes it more sturdy and balanced that the single-pronged one I had before. Easy to get into the ground. The tightening screw may not last too long. But this is so much better than one of the more traditional umbrella stands that take up lots of room and are hard to move.

Placed by the pool in the yard. Placed normal pool umbrella in it and it fell straight over. Tried multiple spots all with the same outcome. Maybe better for beach. Absolutely not worth the money

Didn’t even last one summer. I bought this in April and it worked great at first. We used it in the yard for a beach umbrella to provide shade for a water table and baby pool area. After a few strong gusts of wind, the prongs began to bend and lose sturdiness. In dry hard dirt it’s really hard to get in the ground so we had to pound it in with a rubber mallet a few times and the top began to dent and break. Then it started to rust and now in August it’s soon to be trash. I’m so disappointed…

The weld broke within a couple of uses return window closed by the time i had gotten to use it so i couldn't return. That's my feedback!

I needed to give some shade to the ducklings I rescued and it was an inexpensive solution. It works very well. I set it in the morning and remove it at night. The metal is excellent quality and I can drive it deep into the ground.

We just received the product and it is very sturdy. It exceeded my expectations in this respect. I will update if an issue arises.

Just used for the first time in 10 mph winds and was pleased. Held umbrella upright with minimal movement. VERY easy to place in sand--we dug a small hole and then pushed down as far as we cold. Prefer this to screw type anchors I've used in past.Could not give a 5 star yet until we use it in gustier conditions.

These things can't hold a two foot flag, not to mention 9 feet (diameter) umbrella. The spikes are so shot short that they do not provide any support to anything! Wasted money.

I was able to use a patio table umbrella (do you know how heavy those are!?) and move it around the garden as I worked. Yesterday was hot in the sun but a cool breeze blew. So putting up shade to work allowed me to get so much done. I worried the breeze would turn the umbrella into a kite, but the one screw and the forks pressed into the lawn held up! I have a beach umbrella arriving soon to pair with this, but I am amazed the patio-table umbrella also worked.

This is a great alternative to an umbrella stand for outdoor seating area in the grass. I've purchased two of these for that purpose and the umbrellas are stable. These also didn't affect the growth of grass and didn't create an obstacle for moving or mowing.

You cannot keep a big umbrella in the ground with this. A little breeze will make the umbrella move and this will works it’s way loose in the ground

Useless if there is even a slight breeze. Maybe if I cemented it into the dirt around this contraption… but useless sunken into the dirt of my yard.

Did not come with the rubber inserts described. This umbrella stake has the potential to be effective, with a little more development and robust construction. First it needs to have FOUR legs—badly. If the ground is soft enough to get the stake in, then the stake is too flimsy to hold the umbrella upright. And because there only the two legs, the impress lists badly to either side. Super sturdy, holds a 7 foot tall umbrella with no issues. Even tilted. We bought the dual pack for one on each side of the patio. Easy to move the umbrella as the sun moves.

This holds my standard beach type umbrella in place and makes it so easy to move around the yard, garden or beach. I like that it came with a storage bag. If it got lost, I would buy another one. Worth the price and more convenient than the heavy stands.

I had a stand with wider base so I could stand on it and secure it in the ground. This item is sturdy and nice looking, but couldn’t figure out how to push it deep enough into the ground to secure it. Maybe hitting it w a mallet, bit I am not carrying one or those to the soccer fields… I decided to return and pay a bit more for one w wider stand /stakes .
