Hit or Miss item: my feedback

I ordered 3 of these arches. The instructions were a bit unclear for me to follow. The sticks wouldn’t slide into each other easily. This would then cause the screws to not properly go in. Their sturdiness is not the greatest. I had one arch inside (this one held up decently) I had 2 outside. It was a very windy day and I staked them into the ground. One of them ended up not standing upright due to winds and the tubes and screws not properly going in. Meanwhile the other held up somewhat okay…

Pros

Cons
  • The white color may show dirt and stains easily

Not well put together, but functional and worth the price

I had way too much trouble putting this together due to design flaws, but for the price you really can't complain.I had to tape a few rods together as the nut broke off on the inside of the tube. The paint was too think on connecting pieces. All in all, after assembly and adorning the arbor in my own decorations, it looks great. You will need to create some kind of base for this to stay up and still.I am 6'1 and I have to stand on my toes and stretch to reach the top, so it is the perfect…

Pros
  • Adorox
Cons
  • The arch may require frequent cleaning and maintenance

UPDATE: Add into the instructions that either on left or right bottom poles, 2 Part No. 1 poles is the key so top arch will work. Likes: Easy assembly instructions, complete parts (extra 1 screw), holes that are not perfectly aligned but easy to move poles around to insert screws. DISLIKE: Nothing in the assembly instructions on which last 4 poles to use at the top of the arch. Part No. 3 (17” curved tubes) will not "marry together” i.e., the same size will NOT fit together. Had to use pair of…

  • Good item for the price

Worked well! - my new review

This worked really great for our small wedding. I was able to create an arrangement to make it look nice. I will say, it will not stand on its own and it is not very sturdy! You will need to secure it into the ground if you’re outside. I’m not sure how it does inside. I would still buy it again because it worked just fine for us and looked beautiful when I was done with it. You really can’t beat the price either.

Pros
  • Metal
Cons
  • The arch may not be customizable or adaptable to different themes

Good for time use for my opinion

Used this for a small last minute wedding at home(indoor) and with all wisteria flowers we added, it LOOKED just fine! It’s very UNSTABLE though but my husband used a block of wood on each end to hold it up securely. It could’ve also been taller but I didn’t add the last two pieces on each side. This height was good enough for me. We used glue gun to keep the flowers(artificial) from sliding down the arch. All in all, I thought it was great for what I needed it to be(which is a one time use).

Pros
  • Used as a trellis for climbing beans
Cons
  • Muy inestable, sus varillas son muy delgadas

Nice wedding arch - but not for everyday use.

We got married in May and the venue (our local Elks club) had originally had an arch but it broke, so we decided to just buy this one. After we set it up, it was definitely a bit wobbly but luckily, it was the same one that they had previously so we were able to use the "feet" they had and they kept it nice and steady.Unless you're pushing this down into the dirt/ground, I wouldn't suggest this for everyday use but it's definitely perfect for a wedding arch! We decorated it with tulle, ivy…

Pros
  • Color is perfect
Cons
  • The arch may appear cheap and flimsy

Worked Fine - my new review

If it's windy, you need to figure out how to anchor it down since it's SO lightweight. Which I appreciated it being lightweight - it was easy to assemble and move around. However, we had to wire it down with stakes and other things in a light breeze (we had quite a bit of tulle and garland on it so that may have affected the weight distribution). But it worked for our hour long wedding ceremony.

Pros
  • Enhances the atmosphere of any outdoor ceremony
Cons
  • The arch may not be suitable for all types of photography or videography

Well worth the money!

We bought this arch to use at our indoor wedding ceremony. We had no issues putting it together and realized ahead of time that we would need to find a way to make a base for it to stand without falling over. We ended up buying two wooden crates from the craft store and painting them white. We then put styrofoam inside the crates and stuck the bottom of the arch into that. It ended up working really well! The arch can hold flowers, but not a significant amount.

Pros
  • Aggravating to put together, but worth it in the end for what it's worth.
Cons
  • Feels like a dollar tree product

Tried WD40 and filing the screws - perhaps the black paint made it too difficult to get the screws in all the way, or one end of the #2 bar was a tad to small for the screw. Left metal shavings on the work bench when done. Zip tied the arbor to the opening of our fence for stability. Assembled using the narrow,, taller option and it is 84" tall, not 7'6" (90"). Was planning to push the lower bars into the ground for stability, but it would have made the opening too short for the 6'7" members of

Pros
  • 3.95 pounds
Cons
  • The white metal may clash with certain color schemes or themes

Using it for pole beans

First of all, this is cheaply made, and there is no way I'd ever consider using this in the garden if it didn't have fence wire over the top to stiffen and help stabilize it. It's just too lightweight. Without the additional reinforcement, it's really only good for "that special day" that it's actually being sold for. I imagine a lot of these are just recycled after the one day use.I bought three of these and have them as a bean tunnel. I did plant my beans very late and they are only just…

Pros
  • Gardening & Lawn Care
Cons
  • The climbing plants may cause allergies or irritations for guests

Good product for your money

I ordered this with the intention of making a vegetable arbor. It arrived with all pieces in good condition and instructions - all pre-drilled holes were done properly. I subtracted one star because this is a good buy for the money but there is no way to anchor or weight it to the ground. I added some garden fencing ( for plants to grow up) and gold spray paint, and I think it will be perfect in my garden. as long as it doesn't blow away. See photo.

Pros
  • Using this for my upcoming wedding. Once decorated it will look perfect!
Cons
  • The legs do not have any built in support, so the item is a little flimsy.

Pretty sturdy.: my feedback

Had a indoor wedding and this worked out pretty well, I was a bit worried if it would stand still when I put one foot in a bucket of sand and another foot outside the bucket, but it held up well .its very tall too ,but turned out very nice .

Pros
  • Fits any budget
Cons
  • The climbing plants may attract unwanted attention from birds or other animals

Sturdy enough unless you got morning glories

So i do not know if it is truly a sly on the trellis itself but we got this for my sister to grow on her morning glories and they grew A LOT. I mean they were massive. One day the whole thing just collapsed. The morning glories were very heavy and i just dont think the trellis was really meant for that.

Pros
  • Climbing plant decoration creates a beautiful backdrop for photos
Cons
  • The arch may not provide enough clearance for larger hairstyles or headdresses

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Very flimsy on my review.

Very easy to assemble. Very big. It is like a cardboard box sturdiness. Will blow over if not tied down and even then will probably not withhold a strong wind.

Pros
  • Offers protection from sun and rain
Cons
  • The arch may be difficult to fit through narrow doorways or entrances

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Okay if you anchor it well

Most of the screws were faulty making assembly a challenge. We used this at my son's outdoor wedding on a windy day. It seems sturdy enough until you decorate it with chiffon and a swag, making it a bit top-heavy. We had the foresight to anchor it well with ground anchors and fishing line, otherwise, the first gust of wind would have blown it over. It probably can be used again if done so with care. Not sure how much weight this can handle, but probably okay if anchored well. TIP - pre-drill…

Pros
  • Can be reused for anniversaries, vow renewals, and other celebrations
Cons
  • The arch may be difficult to position and secure on soft or sandy ground

Easy to assemble and easy to decorate

It was very easy to put together but is not very sturdy. Overall it is worth it though because it was a good price. Would recommend if you are doing your own wedding decorations and need something fast and easy.

Pros
  • Gives the ceremony a professional look
Cons
  • The metal may become slippery and dangerous in wet conditions

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Very unsturdy even with nothing on it

I had pieces that were bent on arrival that were very hard to fit together. It literally fell over with NOTHING on it. When I tried to put some garland on it and put weights on all corners it just leaned something terrible. I do NOT recommend this at all

Pros
  • White 1pc
Cons
  • The arch may detract from other decorations and focal points

Revainrating 3 out of 5

You get what you pay for

I knew going into this it wasn’t going to be super strong. Luckily we had some clear fishing line to anchor it to the ground

Pros
  • It’s very flimsy metal but does the job for the plants outside
Cons
  • Not sturdy but easy to put together

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Worth the price best in my review

Assembly was easy though I did one side backwards and had to redo a lot of my decor but that was my own fault for not paying better attention. The metal is very lightweight and bends easily, so if you plan on adding any weight to it with decorative pieces keep that it mind. We bought metal rod stakes to anchor each side and zip tied them to the arch at the base to account for wind or any critters who wanted to test it. Overall worth the price I paid for it. Used in my outdoor wedding.

Pros
  • Nice size arch and great for price. Using as a arch for behind my wedding sweetheart table.
Cons
  • The height may not be suitable for taller individuals

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Couldn’t handle the wind.

Purchased this archway and within a week it was bent up by the wind. It was pretty windy but nothing too crazy. Definitely should have withheld the winds and it didn’t. Had it a week before we had to throw it out.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • The climbing plants may be difficult to transport and maintain in between uses
