Bought this monitor over a year ago. I have connected this monitor to two PCs using a Starview KVM switch, one PC is a 32-bit Windows XP Home Media computer and the other is a 64-bit Windows 7 Pro computer. I have a VGA connection to a Windows XP computer and a DVI connection to a Windows 7. I bought this particular monitor for 3 reasons, firstly it has VGA, secondly it has DVI and thirdly because it has built in speakers. The menus are difficult to navigate when switching from VGA to DVI and the built in speakers sound terrible so 4 stars instead of 5 are the only downsides to this monitor. I use regular computer speakers for one PC and built-in speakers for another. In terms of resolution, this monitor does an excellent job, especially on a Windows 7 machine, with great color and contrast. The monitor is lightweight and the stand seems wide enough for easy handling. The fact that Asus includes VGA and DVI cables is a big plus, no need to look for cables, they're already included! The included instructions are rubbish, so take a quick look and put them aside because, for lack of a better word, they're useless. I'm a proponent of reading instructions for everything, but there's no hope in that, you're on your own! This is a beautiful monitor that delivers great pictures for the price. I would buy this monitor again, great value for the money.
