Color is peeling

Very cute and easy to make. My niece loves it (6 years old). She needs help, but she's learning. BUT! (BIG BUT!) THE PAINT will peel off and make a mess on your hands and face, and then we should move on to the stitch counting instructions! Pooh. I won't buy it again because she can't see the design without my help. The whole idea is that she can do it on her own. Spring.

Pros
  • Embroidery
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Nice set for the price

Very cute, my kids love learning to sew with them. However, this particular brand is losing color on the plastic. This is a problem because you need the color to know where to place the stitches. It wears off over time, making it difficult to know where to put which color. But there are other things I like more than other sets. Like a real metal needle. Others only come with plastic needles. And the holes in this set are smaller which I think makes the finished product better.

Pros
  • Craft and sewing
Cons
  • Expensive

It takes a little time and patience, but you can see progress quickly. My daughter wasn't a complete novice at this type of sewing, she was playing with non-printable plastic canvas, so she knew a thing or two about the mechanics of embroidery. It was her first project that had a template rather…
