Good product. I recently built my own computer and chose this RAM because it was cheap and seemed to do the job well. I installed it on an Asrock Micro-ATX motherboard. I'm using Vista Home Premium 64bit (I know I'd like 7 too), Intel Core i5-3470, Radeon HD7850 and that 8GB of RAM. With this setting, I can consistently run Battle Field 3 on ULTRA at around 55-65 fps, even in multiplayer on large maps.

I have had very good experiences with the Corsair ValueSelect. For the price they are unbeatable. I now have ValueSelect modules on most of my computers. Many RAMs from other companies fail early even though they work well. 2 x 4GB flash drives are all you need to keep your computer happy. When I buy memory I try to buy Corsair whenever I can as it is a well known/reliable brand. I used to take risks with unknown companies with mixed results and now I'm sticking with a brand that has never given me any problems. When I bought this the price was totally reasonable for the amount of storage you got although it's a little higher now for some reason but it's still a lot. If you want to increase the amount of memory in your computer, this is a good way, don't fall for the useless heat
