Panasonic VCR

VCR arrived as stated by the seller. However, I carefully searched for the remote control in the box. I remembered seeing it in a picture when I ordered a VCR. However, I missed the part of the description that says there is no remote control for the VCR. It should not show on the picture if out of stock. There were no directions either. I had a hard time figuring out how to get the VCR working without instructions and with a universal remote control. The VCR was for my 81 year old father who…

Well-known brand at a great price

My old generic brand VCR recently became obsolete just after the one year warranty expired. This time I've decided to invest some extra money in a name brand device and I've always heard that Panasonic makes some pretty good VCRs. I have had no problems with this device after 3 weeks of intensive use. The picture and sound of the recorded material are of good quality. Quality is good but won't run my cable box for VCR+

Happy with quality but disappointed with features especially VCR+. I've been using the Panasonic PV-4564 for a long time and I'm very satisfied. Eventually a tape got stuck in it (like every VCR I've ever owned, but oh well) and I figured with the low prices on this 4611 I'd just buy a new one instead of fixing the old one. The most important feature for me is the VCR+ function, especially how my old VCR could change channels on my cable box. In my research, I excluded all non-VCR+ VCRs. When I
