It's great and works as promised

It's great and works as promised. I want at least one of the sockets to be upside down, so I had the option of fitting the larger plug anyway. When I flip it the whole guy is upside down which isn't a big deal but I had to make custom brackets so I could flip it with a slight change in spacing. I told them my brackets will be used to reverse my inverter!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • I really don't like it, everything is fine

has no alligator clips for easy hooking and unhooking

The device works well. Designed for permanent installation, it has no alligator clips, making it easy to hook on and off. The 8-gauge connection cables were too small and the device sounded the alarm. Caliber 0 with large, heavy-duty alligator clips worked flawlessly. There is a fan that only turns on when the case is hot. The cable switch works perfectly. The device will alarm and turn itself off when the battery is low. Definitely worth the money, wish it had come with alligator clips.

Lots of negative reviews, I have nothing to leave. I really like mine!

It was really great, seems a lot of people are having trouble with it, I'm just trying to keep the operating voltage down. no problems so far, i wouldn't advise using a cigarette lighter to run anything with decent current draw, the longer the wiring and the longer the electricity has to run the hotter it gets, i use two usb lamps and charge my laptop , use my glue gun and a small heater with it, no problem, it's connected five inches from the battery. I really like mine, I can buy a second one

no stars scary: inverter

do not buy this product. I had two of these and the first lasted 2 years and stopped working. I bought this, used it once on a recent trip and it blew a fuse in my truck. As far as I know it smelled burnt. When I looked at the device, it was smoky and hot. The two fuses on the block are not blown, but almost blown. If there was something flammable or clothing there, it would start a fire. If you are not satisfied with this product, you should remove it for safety reasons. The cord is still…

Costs nothing - lots of hype, zero performance

Although the packaging shows all sorts of electrical appliances and the advertising says this inverter can work in the trunk, it actually doesn't work with any of them. We tested it when it arrived and it will NOT work with a coffee pot, desktop, laptop or Chromebook, and won't even charge your Kindle. I've used it to power two small fans on electrical plugs and a USB WiFi hotspot. Constant squeaking, fan noise and burning smell. I turned off a fan. The sound slowed down a bit. I unplugged the…

This is a nice little cheap remote start inverter. that's all.

Nice inexpensive inverter with remote start. that's all. This device came from Amazon with the usual fast shipping and came with cables in a box and a remote control. lol! It's rated at 2000 watts and will barely run a 1600 watt heater when it's run down to around 800 watts from average, sometimes it stalls out. I can work well with Dewalt SDS impact drills from 1500w to 1800w. I tested the device on a Ridgid wet/dry vacuum and it didn't show satisfactory results either: at a load of 1400 watts

If this was hooked up directly to two golf cart batteries it would draw 40 amps plus onto the charging leg of my 7 pin RV plug and reset my circuit breaker and read low voltage. The batteries were new, fully charged and the low voltage alarm went off every time power was used. Batteries should never draw more than 40 amps when continuously charged to run a 1.5ml mini fridge. Futa, that was new. I had a small mini fridge powered by a 1000w inverter. On the second day, 14,000 were on the move…
