Excellent quality cable

The cable worked well with my external computer DVD player for my laptop. Good cable length, flexibility, strength/quality.

Works with multiport adapter

Used this cable to connect USB-C multiport adapter to my Lenovo Legion 5 laptop. All ports (HDMI, USB 3.1, SD card reader, 2.5mm audio ) tested in Linux Mint 20.1 and Windows 10 and they all work great. The cable is very thick and ribbed, and the ends of the cable fit snugly.

Can only do video or power, but not both, regardless of what the Revain listing shows or says.

This is a good cable but when connected to an adapter such as Apple's USB-A, HDMI and USB-C, it cannot power my Macbook Pro while HDMI is for the monitor provides. Revain's listing shows a dual video HDMI adapter cable. I do not know what you are talking about. I will be returning it as I don't need a one-time USB-C extension.

Powered by electricity and video

I have a graphics card with USB C and a tablet with a display. This works very well. The only issue I've had lately is having to use the shorter USB-C without an extension cord to get my computer to recognize both the video and the tablet. I then reconnected the extension cord and everything works great.
