Best purchase I have ever made for my motorhome

I feel better when I plug in the electricity at the campsite we stayed at. Hey, I put too much money into my van to risk ruining my electronics.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Seems to work as described

Finally when traveling with a surge protector to connect the camper to the mains. So far it seems to be working as described. so you can block it in the mail. Didn't expect that.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Protects your RV's electrical system.

With over 40 years experience in the electronics industry I can wholeheartedly recommend this product. Very high quality and works as advertised. I use a long bar lock around the power cord along with a chain to keep it from disappearing while we're away from our camp.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

Protects my electrical system in my conversion van

I was researching whether a 'surge protector' was required for my conversion van and there was definitely a lot of information in there. Surge protection is only a small part of what is required to ensure my electrical system is not damaged by faulty wiring at the RV site. Very easy to use. Connect to the pole, wait 10 seconds and when the indicator turns green you know it's safe to connect your RV. It's quite expensive, but compared to the damage that overvoltage or faulty wiring can do to…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

soap first Easy to use. robust

We use this protection on our mobile home. It is very easy to connect. It takes 5-10 seconds to do mains voltage tests from meter before connecting to our device. The design and continuous test mode provide continuous monitoring of critical electrical parameters. We used it for about 60 hours in 4 different places with no hiccups. It's well built and I expect it to hold up well. I'll amend the report if it doesn't work.

Pros
  • bass and treble protection
Cons
  • slightly dented

Exceeded expectations

A recent campsite revealed an open area near our dining pedestal. The electrician came to check and found nothing wrong with the connections other than a low ground fault. He checked the other 5 sockets in our circuit which also showed a low ground fault but couldn't find the source. He asked to borrow my surge protector to help diagnose the problem as it turned out to be more sensitive than his network analyzer. With that he finally found a vacant land where the main line fed our circuit. I…

It's quite expensive, but compared to the damage that surges or faulty wiring can cause to your entire electrical system and anything plugged into your RV's outlets, it's a drop in the bucket.
