I like it although I've only used water based paints and will of course use it with alcohol based inks. I like how it grips the surface and doesn't slip. I also like that the seller included a note with contact information - a nice touch.

I like the Tonic brand so I bought their rug. It came perfectly packaged and doesn't slide around on my work surface. But I was a bit sad when I rolled it out on my table for the first time because there were already 3 brown spots on its surface. I'll keep it because it won't be the last time this rug will be inked. It was disappointing.

I put off buying this rug for years and I regret it! I should have gotten it much sooner! Perfect for ink stains and other messy techniques! Ink reacts differently than acetate. (in a good way) it is very easy to wash and the backing has low tack. When it loses its stickiness, simply wipe with a damp cloth and it will be like new! I find myself taking off this rug all the time! I love it and wish I had gotten it sooner! Honestly, this would be a good gift for smart friends!
