I chose this toy over others because it has music in it. The music sounds like elevator music and the animals make very strange noises. I don't like it at all!

Don't waste your money! The best that could have happened was that Revain hadn't shipped this out on time so I had to buy something else. This is a very expensive toy with pop-ups! Silent! No music! None of this works

One thing that upset me was that the music didn't match the button presses. I think I had a preconceived notion that the noise would be the result of button presses. This is how this toy works. Works well, easy for a child to work with. Children love these toys.

It took maybe 30 minutes after my friend opened it before it broke. At the kids party, a couple of kids under 3 were playing with it and one of the pins holding the pop up animals in place broke. If he can't stand half an hour of play, then he's completely meaningless. After that he disappeared, otherwise I would have brought him back. A complete waste of money.

The elephant decal had a bear inside. And the giraffe has a snowman on the 4th, and the rest seem to have normal things like honey for a bear. So it's just weird. It's like carnival music. The buttons are a little hard to press for my 7 month old. But she likes to avoid pop-ups. She will get used to the different buttons. And she really likes it. It entertains her for a long time.

Bought for my son who is just a year old. He loves it and it's just too cute! The toy itself is surprisingly durable. My son threw it (even out of bed) and it still works great. He loves bright colors and light. Unlike many toddler toys, music is not distracting at all! I really like how each animal "appears" based on how you manipulate the different buttons. My daughter loves this musical toy! She's a little over a year old, so she can currently only open the first switch and the last button. She likes the music this toy makes as well as animal sounds and the door opens. She also likes to close them. This toy will last for quite a while as it takes a lot of dexterity to open the other two pop-up animals. In the meantime, I'll show her and explain what I'm doing. With this toy we can count, sing, discuss animals and their sounds, discuss colors.

I prefer my boys to play with toys that don't have batteries but based on the reviews I decided to give it a try as they love their Einstein Musical Cube. But I'll be returning it soon and buying them a wooden entertainment center instead. This toy is so cheap! I think the one I received was also used as it had a hole in the packaging and scratches on the back and around the battery screw. The plastic is cheap, feels like it will break if you drop it.
