I prefer my boys to play with toys that don't have batteries but based on the reviews I decided to give it a try as they love their Einstein Musical Cube. But I'll be returning it soon and buying them a wooden entertainment center instead. This toy is so cheap! I think the one I received was also used as it had a hole in the packaging and scratches on the back and around the battery screw. The plastic is cheap, feels like it will break if you drop it. The music was loud and annoying. Swimming animals swam with a delay and their edges were a bit sharp. It looked like another cheap toy from China. Disappointed but as always thankful for the free return postage!
