Works great in HDD enclosures

Drives inside are a bit noisy but overall this product works accurately the way it should. Setup is very easy and the device is almost ready to use (after formatting). Beautiful metal body construction.

Pros
  • Includes 0.6m (24") USB 3.1 Gen 1 cable and 1.0m (39") Thunderbolt cable
Cons
  • Security

My favorite drive

Great reliable product. Small enough to fit in my luggage and powerful enough to handle all my video projects. I will buy it again when I need more disk space.

Pros
  • Two Thunderbolt 2 ports and one USB 3.1 Gen 1 port
Cons
  • Concerns me

Review - G-Raid discs are way, way better

After years of using G-Raid and G-Speed discs for editing, I've decided to splurge on $50 save and try this instead. After a day of use I return it to Revain. It's a bit noisier than G-Technology drives (or any other drive I have), it keeps locking up and the computer has to wait for it to start spinning again. And it doesn't have a power switch, so you can't turn it off. Back to my G-Raid drives.

Pros
  • OWC 3 Year Limited Warranty
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
