Do not buy, too hard for film

I was level 2 and have developed thousands to millions of pieces of film and this squeegee is too hard. Will definitely scratch the film. I've tried using it a few times and just doesn't get it right. I would not recommend it

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Unsure

No better than cleaner

I have had better results with wetting agent and deionized water than with deionized water etc. They are not too soft. I was expecting high quality silicone blades rather than thick rubber (good quality). They scratched my film, maybe they tried too hard.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Neutral

Facilitates the removal of waterdrops

With 35mm negatives it is easy to remove all waterdrops from the film. Solution from the developer tank onto the squeegee to keep it from drying out during use. I had no problems as some others have described. I've tried other methods to remove water to prevent smudges, but this device worked best along with the photo flow that may or may not be required, so I'll stick with it.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket
