I have big hands and although it is even smaller it feels good and weighs. metal, not plastic. The first shave was a lesson. Don't push, let the weight work for you. And try to keep the same shaving angle throughout the movement.

This has been my first safety razor since I made the decision to move away from cartridge razors. I definitely recommend switching to safety razors because of the quality of this razor! The long handle and good weight made shaving easy and comfortable, and learning to shave with a safety razor was easy. I prefer the darker color to the stainless steel look, and the ribbed handle makes it easier to grip. I've been using this razor regularly for about 8 months now and can definitely recommend it.

Years ago I inherited a double-edged razor. I used to use disposable razors and just didn't know what a good shave was until I started using one. Bought for my husband. I have it in Gunmetal and he has another. When he saw that mine had a longer and longer handle and felt a bit heavier, he was impressed. After a few weeks of seeing mine work, he said he wanted the same thing. He used it and agreed it gave him a close shave with fewer nicks!

I've long been suspicious of razor manufacturers who make razors that only shave twice, three times or even less. I ordered this to remind myself of my youth when it was the only one available. They may not be the slickest or most modern, but they have weight in their hands and you get a lot of shave from the blade and the shave is very close. recommended

Quality workmanship on this shaver. It opens smoothly and the weight and length of the handle provide the weight you need for a close, scratch-free shave. I used an "As shown on TV" brand safety razor which made me bleed and had to use Leatherman to turn the nut to open the razor for a blade change. Thank you QSHAVE!
