Very Satisfied - Sanders

I read the reviews on here and reluctantly ordered and I'm sure glad I did. I have a dewalt dwe315 oscillating instrument and they connect without an adapter. Many reviewers have complained about melting during use, but I've had none of these issues. I haven't worn it down with heavy use, yes the edges of the sandpaper wear off quickly when you're sanding parts, but that's not unexpected. I just didn't have any of the issues mentioned by other reviewers. I think they are excellent and have no…

Pros
  • Perforated Backing Pad
Cons
  • Some minor issues

They don't last long

The new velcro works great on the sanding pad but maybe after the third sandpaper it doesn't stick or barely sticks, it works the lowest speed and give it "Cooling down" as mentioned in some reviews. Sure, a sanding pad isn't going to break the bank, but you might think you could get more use out of it. I should know better, this is my sixth pad grind. Pros
  • Universal fit system adapts to other brands
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

Great product if you work within its limits

Yes they are plastic. If you overload them and they get too hot, they will start to melt. Don't use them at high speed and don't spend a lot of time working with just one corner of the pad. Spread the work out over the entire area, taking a break every few minutes. If you do, the last one will work great and last indefinitely. Multi-tools are good, but they're not good at everything. By placing this pad on your tool, you essentially let the saw do the work of a grinder. You will get good…

Pros
  • For use with RW9145 sanding sheets
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other pliers
