Update 8/27/19: Drive failed! I'm not sure how to guarantee this? The packaging says there is a 3 year guarantee. I registered it online but I don't know how to apply. Will have to find out. In terms of compatibility with the 2011 MacBook Air 13-inch adapter, this drive works great. Of course, I can't say anything about the durability since I installed it and sold the MacBook.

I used this in a Satechi Type-C Stand & Hub with a Mac Mini M1 SSD Enclosure. The M2 flash drive had B and M keys. Satechi only M and I thought I was stuck but I decided to try anyway and it worked. Works in the same range of access speeds as Satechi for more expensive drives. Approximately 1.5 to 2 times faster than a spinning hard drive connected to the W10 Desktop Board's SATA 3 6Gb/s port. I have other SPP drives on almost every computer I own, and now the number is approaching 10<G>.

My new laptop (Acer Aspire E 15) started up slowly and had a 1TB hard drive. I added this m2 SSD, only 4 tiny screws for physical installation and now my computer starts up in a split second.
