Seems i got lucky and my built in lighter actually works even after a number of charges. I would bet leaving it ignited for too long would damage its Internal components. the button latch holds the case closed properly in my pocket while working and sweating in the florida sun, the secondary flip up latch is flimsy and i would bet it could break quite easy. the case lacks an o-ring so it probably isn't water tight, but it is secure and short of dunking appears basically waterproof. In mine the lighter lit 5 cigs, before needing a charge, once it got that 1st charging has worked even better. The Lighter takes some effort as accuracy is needed to hit the spot while holding the lever to activate it. if I didn't wear glasses it might be easier. I bought this so it can light in windy situations. The lighter part of this case has never worked. I bought a 2nd one hoping the first was defected. 2ns one worked for about a day and then stopped working. Sounds like a part fell off inside that makes it work. Don't count of this this to light anything except for the first day you have it. Both cases I bought would never recharge and work.

Exactly what I needed. This case holds a pack of Camel Filters perfectly. The built in lighter works ok but I didnt buy the case for it so I can't knock it for that. Also the case doesn't make your pack of cigarettes much larger and it fits in your pocket just fine.

Love the concept. However, the waterproof seal comes out, wraps around the cigarette package and I was going to try gluing it, but I lost the seal during a kayaking trip. Before issues with the seal I loved it, it would be perfect if the seal was stuck in place, rather then it coming out. Two whole packs of cigarettes were ruined using this case because of the seal.

I like this is really is better than all the other cigarette I have bought. The only thing that sucks is that you can't fit in 100's size BUT!. If you don't like the electric lighter or don't plan on using it (electric lighters like these kinda suck so its better to always carry a gas one). Definitely waterproof. I used it while floating down the river. Tied it off to my inner tube and it stayed floating on the water. Even after being submerged intentionally, I was able to use it.

Followed directions for charging lighter and it does not work at all. The clip used to keep the box closed became loose after opening the box for the 4 or 5th time.Not happy with this purchase at all. Would like my money back

This case is great and very durable. I keep it in my bag while snowboarding and have had some really hard falls on it. My only mark down on this is the lighter does not work very good. It can hardly light a cigarette.

Worked beautifully for the first month now the rod connecting the top to the base keeps trying to fall out and the lighter doesn't work despite how long I leave it on the charger. Bottom line is this is a crap product that you should avoid purchasing this junk so you don't waste your time and money.

Used it for a float trip and it got completely submerged in water I don't know how many times, never failed me. That's my review.

i mainly bought this to prevent my pack from being crushed at work. for those purposesit works great, kept em safe and dry. the lighter function wasnt all that great and refused to charge. ur better off just carrying a lighter than use the built in one.

It would of gotten 5 stars if the lighter was a bit more easily accessible but as far as durability it is great, water proof and easy to open. I work in construction running heavy equipment and sometimes it gets a bit dusty and working in the florida sun you sweat like crazy, this case really helps protect your cigs!

I wish I didn't have to remove the flameless lighter in the lid to be able to fit my 100s but its simple. Only held in by 2 screws so easy to remove. I like the double latch a lot, it keeps everything securely closed until I'm ready to open it. The lanyard is a nice bonus and the hole on the back of the case you can attach it to is also convenient because it's large enough to clip on a small carabiner.

Do not buy jts awful the lighter doesn't work I had it on charge for almost a whole day and nothing never even got hot. And you can't fit most cigarettes or joints in there it's just a waste.
