Exactly What You Need

If you work with AR, this is exactly what you need and you don't have to spend time with a real tool. Very durable and well made with no issues on my end and I've used it probably over 30 times.

Pros
  • Fits all commercial and standard 1 1/4 in. OD castle nuts and plumbing fittings.
Cons
  • Only available in black

Castle Nut Puller: Wrench

This tool served my purpose. Used to loosen and remove the castellated nut on the ap 9. If I were a gunsmith I'd get something more fitting. It fits well but gloves are needed because it has no real grip, just bare stamped metal. Inexpensive but as I use it more than a few times I'll get better

Pros
  • Very easy to hang with an o-ring, convenient and easy to use with a round lip
Cons
  • Legacy model

If I were to compare this to a $75 tool and it also costs $75 then it would probably be a 3 star rating because it still does one job (tightening/loosening) castellated nuts on a given item, but $75 tools do more (barrel nuts). ). and everything else). At first I couldn't install this tool on my castellated mother. Since I wasn't in a hurry, I didn't try to force it. I tried using it to tighten the nut during…
