Be sure to buy shoes according to the size chart. I have an 8 year old girl who wears size 3 Nike shoes (the Nike runs small). I gave her a 2 based on her foot measurements according to the TEVA sizing chart on their website. It was right. Her foot measures approximately 8 inches. It fits great with a little room in the toe box (so there's room to grow but you won't trip). She has a normal foot width - if her foot was wide I would buy her a 3. My 6 year old has them in size 13 - fits great too.

These shoes fit my 3 year old daughter, a size 8 baby, great.
