Fluoride-Free Antiplaque Oral Care Toothpaste by Toms Maine - Advanced Toothpaste Review

I really liked fennel toothpaste even before I realized that I was sensitive to salicylates. This is one of the very few all-natural mint-free toothpastes (that I should stay away from).

I really like the taste of fennel. My husband thought it was too tingly/numb. I believe there is a natural enzyme in fennel (as well as in celery and similar plants) that causes this. At first I felt a little but it seems to have subsided. If you like the taste of fennel, I recommend :)

If you hate the taste of mint, this toothpaste is a great alternative. Although the flavor isn't for everyone, the liquorice flavor is very faint.

This is exactly what it claims to be. I don't know what I was expecting in terms of taste, but it really tastes like fennel, which I happen to hate! Although my partner likes it.

I find most mint aromas too astringent. The fennel flavor seems odd, but it's a nice liquorice, not candy, with all the qualities of Tom's toothpaste. Whenever Whole Foods has Tom's on sale, I always buy an extra tube or two for the buffet. The product is of excellent quality and the sale adds even more value.

I'm allergic to mint and cinnamon. Aside from children's toothpaste, there aren't many options. I find this toothpaste cleans well, lathers well and tastes great.
