Rules for images in your reviews

Rules for images in your reviews

All Revain authors can attach images to their reviews. This way users can illustrate their points and describe their experience better.

Adding images is not mandatory, you can still post reviews without them if you wish. However, attaching at least three images is necessary to get rewards for views - learn more here.

There are simple yet important rules So when you are attaching an image, remember to keep these things in mind:

Relevance: your images need to contribute something to the review, make it more informative. They need to add value to your text. For example, photos of products, screenshots of an interface, or graphic guides are relevant and valuable. Company logos and names are not.

Inappropriate content: Revain Review Policy applies to all content on the platform, including images. Make sure your images do not violate any rules, i.e. do not contain hate speech, do not promote scams or illegal activities, etc.Privacy: Don’t publish other people’s private information. That includes faces, IDs, phone numbers, email addresses, social media accounts, etc. We realize that sometimes you might need to publish something that contains someone’s private information. For example, you might want to show an email from a company’s manager. In that case, blur the private details or cover them up in some other ways.

Promotional content: Do not post any promotional material unless it’s relevant to your review. If someone uses their reviews for advertisement, we will be forced to block their account.

Intellectual property: Do not copy images from the web or other reviews. Be creative and find or make the illustrations for your reviews yourself.

If images attached to a review violate any of these rules - the review will be removed and the author’s account might be blocked.
