Dangerous design flaw.

Once the cable is connected, the cable sleeve lengthens and lengthens it even more. On a Surface Go, connecting with the cable facing up blocks the USB-C port on the Surface. Does not work, only charges at 40mA

See photo. When using a 65W USB PD charger, it consumes only 0.04A. Other USB->Surface adapters charge at 2.5A with the same charger. This adapter does not work.

Very handy

These Surface adapters are very cute and very small. You can use any high-capacity USB-C charger to charge your Surface. Also remove the adapter and the cable can be used for other USB-C devices. This reduces the amount of stuff you need to take with you when you travel.
